Celestion guitar speakers have been an important part of British guitar tone since the birth of Rock & Roll. Traditionally, they're known for lively and vocal midrange character with plenty of sparkle and chime, which turns into an exciting growl when overdriven, often compressing when pushed hard. Inspired by our favourite modern American tones, the A-Type is a different kind of guitar speaker from Celestion. Of course, it still has the musical and revealing three- dimensional quality that is the heart and soul of a Celestion guitar speaker, however it features a more laid-back midrange which reveals body and complexity in the upper register, accompanied by full and rounded low frequencies. The A-Type conveys a fluid, even performance with an increased headroom threshold that allows your amp's tone to shine through. Clean players will love the smooth articulation; for rockers the brooding, powerful low end threatens thunder that's only a heavy riff away!

Originally developed in the 1950s from a successful Celestion radio speaker, the CT3757, the Alnico Blue is the worlds first dedicated guitar loudspeaker.
Its use in early Marshall and Vox amplifiers helped to define the sound of 60s British popular music and it remains today one of the most desirable guitar loudspeakers in the business.
Alnico refers to the composition of its magnet material, an alloy of Aluminium, Nickel and Cobalt, and when combined with an overloaded tube amplifier, the Blue distorts easily, with its unique response smoothing the sound into gloriously creamy overtones rich in quality and sustain. The D-series is an innovative speaker line designed for the new generation of Digital, modeling, profiling and IR-based amplifiers. The series is also indicated for acoustic guitar amplification, not recommended for traditional electric guitar amplifiers.
Extended response on the upper range, to transduce the detail of the digital effects and the harmonic content of a mic'ed guitar cabinet. The Jensen 12'' Vintage Neodymium 100W N12K was born from the development process that Jensen did for the speaker in use in the new Fender® Tone Master® Deluxe Reverb® and Twin Reverb®.
The goal was to develop a speaker with the closest possible sound, character and feel to the classic Jensen C12K, one of the most popular speakers in the family, currently in use in many Fender® amplifiers… in half the weight.
To satisfy this requirement, Jensen designed the N12K, featuring its exclusive Neodymium magnet design. The process went through a very accurate analysis and optimization of the overall sound, starting from the same vintage-inspired, seamed cone membrane used in the C12K. The frequency response curve of the two speakers are strikingly close, as well as most of the key elements and parameters.
Once satisfied with the tone, the Jensen R&D put special attention to give to the N12K a traditional, almost familiar response to the player's touch, to return the "feel and dynamics" of a classic speaker, refined by countless playing and listening sessions.
Installing the new Jensen N12K speakers in their amplifiers will allow the players the unique opportunity of shaving off 4 to 5 lbs of weight for each replaced traditional ceramic speaker of equivalent power rating, even its direct ancestor, the C12K. The N12K weights just above 2Kgs!
The Jensen commitment is that not a single ounce of tone shall be lost!
